If people like it, they can continue with the membership at the regular price after 12 days have passed. If they don't like it, they can cancel their memberships before the 12th day is up so as not to be charge the full membership price.It's an excellent opportunity for those who are unsure if they should join because they get full access to everything, for 12 days, for just $1.
