Hi Randy –

I can try to answer that one myself… to get an idea of how many people use the search function on one of your stores, just go into your cPanel/Webftp Stats/AWStats/ and look at the list of files that were accessed. (On the left menu, click on “Full List” under the navigation header about halfway down the menu)

You should see an entry for /search. The number to the right of it is the number of times in the current month, your search box was used.

I have soe sites that it is the MOST POPULAR page on a site, with more than 1000 views!

I was wondering if you knew how many people actually use the search box to find more items?

I saw Mark’s original post awhile back but was not sure how others really used it so I never pursued trying to get it.
