Have Any of You Joined Commission Ritual?

Wow, it’s been a crazy week.  Aside from being sick (a cold I just can’t shake), and having my doctor find a lump in places where there shouldn’t be lumps (I had a mammogram and ultrasound yesterday, and am VERY glad to say it is just a cyst), I have ALSO been on a site-building spree – more on that in a moment.

On a side note, to all you women readers: If you are 40 or older, PLEASE make sure you are getting an annual mammogram (digital mammograms are more accurate).  If you are between 35 and 40, get a baseline mammogram done, so if a lump is later found, your doctor will know what “normal” is for you.  It’s a simple thing that can save your life.

Commission RitualOkay, back to business.  Recently I mentioned that I had watched a free two-hour webinar.  The webinar was held by a man named Brian G. Johnson, who I had honestly never heard of before.  The only reason I even watched the webinar is because it was free and I figured I was willing to give up two hours to see what this guy had to say.

My expectations were very low, but I have to say this guy’s site building and marketing methods pretty much knocked my socks off.  What’s even better is that his methods totally made sense to me.

Of course, Brian had a sales pitch at the end of his webinar, but I admit I was so hooked that I bit.  I purchased both his product (a PDF that explains his method and includes lots of videos that go into even greater detail) AND I joined his monthly membership site.

Part of me thinks I really shouldn’t be writing about this just yet, as I haven’t actually made a dime using the Commission Ritual method (that’s what Brian calls his system), though, to be fair, I’ve only been using this method for two weeks.  Also, I really don’t like to share something unless I know it works and is a good product.  However, I am doing so now for a few reasons:

  • 100% positive that I will be earning from the sites I have built using the Commission Ritual method.
  • I know that some of you (many?) have struggled with actually earning money from the sites you build and I want you to be able to learn this system in time to cash in on the Christmas holiday.

You can check out the entire Commission Ritual system for seven days for $4.95 (this does not include the membership site).  If you are struggling at all with earning money online, then I encourage you to invest $4.95 to checkout this method.

If you are able, then I also encourage you to join Brian’s membership site, the Inner Circle.  It is truly worth the price.

I am impressed with Brian for several reasons:

First, Brian is very active in his membership site’s forum.  By this, I mean he often responds directly to questions, as well as offering praise and encouragement.  From what I can tell, he realizes that people are paying for his knowledge and he very willingly gives it.

Second, he provides actual sites that he has built to use as examples.   These are money-making sites for him, not sites that he simply built to show how to do something.

Third, Brian makes mistakes, and is willing to share them.  That’s a hard quality for find, especially in someone claiming to be an expert in something.

Also, the method Brian teaches pretty much goes contrary to what most other experts say to do.  In fact, it was so contrary that I actually struggled with the linking method until I truly understood the value in doing what he says to do.  This linking method is very easy to do, and will score you big points with Google.

Fourth, as to backlinking, there is very little to do.  Imagine only creating three to five backlinks for a site, then moving on.  Imagine the time and/or money you will save by not having to go crazy getting backlinks.  It is time you can spend building more sites!

Fifth, the members in the membership site are extremely helpful and patient.  Sort of like how the BANS forum used to be, but no one is answering questions with, “RTFM!”  (If you don’t know what that means, just know that it isn’t nice.)

Lastly, member’s of his membership site are given additional guides, including the “3 Hour Profits” pdf.  This guide explains how to create sites in three hours (yes, you read that correctly), start to finish.  Yes, this is realistically possible using Brian’s methods.

Just to let you know, I have published seven sites today.  These are NOT thin affiliate sites.  They contain 100% unique content.  To be honest, they are 95% done.  The only thing missing from each of these sites are my own affiliate links, but I have purposely left them out at this time.  Two weeks ago I purchased 30+ domains, each targeting the upcoming Christmas holiday season.  I really want to get these sites up and indexed now, which is why I have done everything but the affiliate links.  Once I am done putting up all 30+ sites, I will go back and start adding my links.  If that doesn’t make sense, it will if you read Commission ritual.

Please, if you want to make some money this Christmas season, it is not too late, and there are plenty of niches still to be found.  Give the Commission Ritual a peek and see if the methods taught fit your needs.  I hope that doesn’t sound too pushy and I apologize if it does, as I’m not trying to be.

Have any of you already purchased Commission Ritual, possible even joined the Inner Circle membership site?  If so, I’d love to hear what you think about it.

  1. Rochelle, firstly good to know that you are all fine..

By the way, I am curious to know if you promote your site via Adwords or SEO. If it was SEO, isn’t it pretty late for Christmas already?

    Hi Ananad,

Thanks. It’s good to be fine!

I think you are asking if we are getting traffic by purchasing it from Adwords or naturally getting it from having our sites SEO’d as well as possible. If so, then it is strictly SEO. And, no, surprisingly it is not too late for Christmas. But, that’s why I’ve been on a site building kick, because I’m cutting it close if I want a piece of the action this Christmas. I figure we still have a few weeks before it becomes too late. I hope this answers your question.

Glad to see you’re doing well. I had my 1st mammogram a few weeks ago and turned 40 today. Thank God as is well.

To answer your question, I’ve purchased but haven’t joined the membership.

My first site although indexed, is not showing up in the serps for the main keyword. It did show up for a secondary keyword for one day and did receive four adsense clicks from the five visitors that showed up during it’s very short google debut.

My question to you would be, how long has it taken for the sites that you created last week to show up in the serps and are they still there?

The other problem was that my site is showing up on the other sites commented on but not the serps. Have you experienced this problem?

    Thanks!

  4. So glad you’re OK Rochelle. Can I just mention to the guys out there that you should be getting a prostrate check up. Not pleasant but worth it in the long run.

Do you know if the webinar is available as a recording? I’m in Australia at the moment and the time difference and jetlag made me miss it.

If anyone is struggling making money online then I would suggest checking out http://www.thirtydaychallenge.com it is a free training course and takes you from a complete beginner to making your first online dollar.

    Sunshine,

I just replied via email, then realized that your response was a comment on here. So, I’m going to repost what I wrote, as it will likely benefit others. (Sorry about that!)

It sounds to me as though you are doing well if you have already have AdSense clicks. Although I don’t know how old your site is, I would assume it is fairly new. Be prepared for what is called the Google Dance. This means your site will bounce around in the serps until Google finally decides how to rank it. It’s okay if it ranks high, then low, then high again. That’s all normal, and may happen for even a few months.

The very first site I created using the Commission Ritual method took just a few days to show up in the serps, and debuted at #9 on Google. Honestly, I’ve NEVER had a new site show up that high. It has dropped down to # 15 for now, and will likely go back up.

My other sites are not yet ranking. I just built a whole bunch of them, but haven’t done any backlink building yet. I’m doing things in chunks at the moment: Researching and buying mulitple domains, adding those domains to my hosting account at the same time, installing Wordpress on each of them at the same time, setting up the blogs (including themes and plugins) at the same time, then I will work on backlink building at the same time. This works for me because I will generally need to be in a particular program or file for each step in the process. If I am looking for blogs to comment on, I’d rather do it for a bunch of my sites, instead of one at a time. It’s all about saving time for me.

And, yes, it is totally normal for new sites to how up on other sites that you’ve commented on, but not the serps.

Keep this in mind (and I need to remind myself of it, too) that this is a long-term process. We live in an instant gratification world, but that’s not how site building works. At the moment, I only have one AdSense site. It is making me about $400 a month right now, but it has taken 1-1/2 years (yes, years) to get to this point.

    Hey all,

I totally forgot to mention in my post above, but another really great feature of the Commission Ritual method is that Brian tells you EXACTLY how to do keyword research. You will know in a matter of minutes if the phrase you are thinking of targeting will be worthwhile or if you should skip it, and you can do it all with free tools.

  9. Sunshine says:

    Hey Rochelle,

Thanks for the feedback. I know Brian knows what he’s doing because his type of sites rank all over the serps. I saw quite a few recently during halloween and am certain he knows his stuff:)

I’m looking forward to attracting some of those big commissions fom holiday shoppers as well. .(thinking AND working positively towards that goal)

Let’s all tap into this years billion plus dollar Christmas spending market.

    Cheers!

  10. Rochelle says:

    Sunshine,

You are right about Brian’s sites (what he teaches, not HIS actual sites) being all over the place. Now that I know what I am looking at, I’m amazed how many sites created using the Commission Ritual method are on pages one and two of Google.

I love your enthusiasm! Good luck getting your piece of the Christmas pie :)

    Rochelle

  11. I signed up for Commission Ritual about a week ago and have been watching the videos, and recently the christmas ones too. They have some great information in them. I have built 3 sites and plan on doing some more this week to hopefully make the christmas season. Like you Rochelle, I am setting up WP and the main content page then will go back and do backlinks and such.

If you decided to try the trial period and are unhappy with it, just make sure you cancel through PayPal so you are not charged the additional funds for the full cost of the course.

The only thing you won’t have access to is the Inner Circle, which is the monthly membership portion of Commission Ritual. I hope that helps.

    Yael,

Isn’t this the time to garden? I hope so because I just bought two plants this morning!

I feel confident in saying that you won’t be overwhelmed with the Commission Ritual method. Brian strives to make the process of site building and promotion as easy and automated as possible, and I believe he has succeeded in spades.

How do you like CR so far?

    Rochelle

  23. Yael Ben-Ari says:

    Rochelle,

Any time is the time to garden. You are in Florida, right?? So you should have quite a lot of stuff that will do well. In general, fall is a good time to plant trees and shrubs so their roots can grow during the winter. I imagine that this is also fairly true where you are, although I think you have a few more growing possibilities.

So far, I am liking CR. It seems to make quite a bit of sense to develop small focused web pages. I like his step by step method. We will see what I am able to do. So far, I am through Chapter 4 in the Core material. I have only watched some of the videos, per Brian’s suggestion; and I plan to go back and do that. Too bad, I am coming in a little late to take advantage of this method for the holiday season. Maybe I can get at least one site up while there is still some possibility of taking advantage of it.

I did sign up for the Inner Circle as well, and I think there is some good stuff there, but I’m trying to take it slow. I don’t know if you get credit for that as well, but you might ask as I followed your link to sign up for the main course.

    Yael

  24. Rochelle says:

    Yael,

Yes, I am in Florida. Sadly, I have a black thumb, so I generally stay away from gardening. But, Lowes was having a 90% off sale on odds and ends today, and I got a flowering basket and a hibiscus for about $1.20. I figure I am willing to invest a buck and some change. I’m going to give them to my children, and let them take care of the plants. The weather is perfect right now for transplanting, so the hibiscus should do well.

You are smart to watch the videos. I didn’t initially, and regretted that I didn’t right off the bat. They definitely help and very much add to the information Brian is passing on.

I’m not sure if you are too late or not for the Christmas season. I am still putting up sites, but, at the same time, I realize I’m really building for next Christmas.

What I would suggest is do the research, and get the URLs now if they are available. Don’t stress too much about getting them up in time for this holiday season. The longer your sites are up, the better they will do when Christmas rolls around next year, if that makes sense.

I just checked and, yes, I did get credit for your Inner Circle membership. Thank you!

The Inner Circle is the best forum I’ve been on. Truly. The people there are wonderfully kind, helpful, and respectful.

Re: Plants Hibiscus should do well if you follow instructions on where to plant. They take sun, but I think they need well drained soil. Flower baskets are probably annuals, so when they are done, they are done; but enjoy them for the time being.

    Yael

  26. Rochelle says:

Enjoy your trip to Seattle! Beautiful place.

Nope, my basket is full of perennials. I checked before purchasing. It was the only one. All the other baskets were annuals, which I hate, as I see them as a waste of money.

I am so pleased your moving forward with the course

Although you missed out on Halloween and Christmas for this year, I assure you that there are plenty of seasonal sites still waiting to be built. You can get a head start now for Halloween or Christmas for next year. Just be aware that, being seasonal, you won’t get much traffic or commissions except around those holidays.

That being said, the Commission Ritual method also works great for any other type of product site. I’ve been researching various non-seasonal niches and am excited to start creating them in January (after the craziness of Christmas is over).

Be sure to introduce yourself in the forum. Lots of great people there who are willing to help you in your journey. I look forward to seeing you in the forum!

    Hi Rochelle,

Regarding “Commission Ritual,” I see people saying it’s a good program but that haven’t made any moeny yet. So, where are the people who actually use the Commission Ritual program selling everyday products (i.e. not more of the “Buy My Affiliate Program and Make Money deaos)?

It seems as though the only people making money at this are those that are selling their program to teach you how to make money using the affiliate method.

I hope you or other will repsond to this question.

  34. Rochelle says:

    Shooter,

What you are asking is a very fair question. Here is my take on it.

Commission Ritual is a good program. So is Crowd Mountain. So is the Niche Store Strategies Guide. So are many other programs.

I can’t speak for other people using any particular method, but I’ll speak for me. I find that if I choose a method and stick with it, I do make money. But, if I choose a method, then find another and start using that one, then a few months later find another and start using that one, I don’t do well in any of them.

I can’t prove that anyone using the above mentioned methods is making money with them, but I’ve read in their forums that people who stick with a particular method, and follow it as instructed, are making money.

Personally, I am making money with the above methods, but not nearly as much as I want. In all honesty, I admit that I’ve not stuck with a specific method long enough to get the most out of them. But, when I’ve stuck with a method, it has worked. When I’ve followed the instructions as taught, it has worked.

Also, regardless of the method used, seeing results won’t happen overnight. It might not even happen for a few months. Working in Internet Marketing requires a great amount of patience, and many quit a method too soon simply because they don’t realize they need to be more patient.

This has happened to me, and still does. I want to see results asap, but need to constantly remind myself (any my husband) that it takes time. My best performing site has taken a full two years to get where it is right now.

So, who is making money with these methods? The people who stick to them and don’t get distracted by the next shiny carrot that is dangled in front of them (and, yes, I know how hard it can be to resist those carrots!).

    I hope that helps,
    Rochelle
