Let visitors spread the word about your niche store by giving them an easy way to email your site’s URL.
My instructions to add ‘Refer A Friend’ code to your site: |

Step One

| Log in to your site’s Admin and click on the ‘Template‘ tab and ‘header.php‘ link for the template you are using. | |
| Save a copy of the original code (click here for instructions on how to do this). | |
| Step Two | |
| Copy and paste the contents of refer-a-friend01.txt code to header.php by placing it ABOVE the </head> tag . | |
| Change the following bit of code before you save your changes: | |

| Save changes and view site for errors. | |
|
Step Three
|
|
| Decide where you want your Refer a Friend link to be seen on your site. | |
| Copy and paste the contents of refer-a-friend02.htm code to your desired location. | |
| Save changes and view site for errors. | |

You can place this code just about anywhere you wish but perhaps the easiest place is to add it someplace within the ‘Ads‘ tab.
If you put your code in Ads, as I do, be aware that the code will not show on your Home page. In order to have it show on the Home page you need to go to your Home page and add the code to the Content section. Make sure you add it by clicking on the < > button and pasting it in the window that opens.

Please don’t feel you need to apologize for being new and needing clarification because you don’t.
Adding this mod to your site gives visitors a way to email any page from your site to friends, family, groups, etc. You can see what I’m talking about by clicking the ‘Email this page to friends’ link on the bedding page of my My Little Pony store: http://mylittlepony.anichestor.....ny-Bedding
The reason I chose this page instead of the ‘Home’ page is so you can see that the ‘Refer-a-Friend’ script will email whatever page users are on when they click the link. This is a great, and easy, way to let visitors spread the word about your sites.

I also noticed that you’ve got Amazon ad, I just affiliated with Amazon and was looking for a way to add related items to my site. Can you please point me to the direction with instructions on how to do this? Once again I truly appreciate your help and this instructions that you you have on this website are priceless!

Thank you for your comments about my site. That site holds a special place for me as I put months of work into it (something I don’t recommend). It is the site that consistently brings in sales on an almost daily basis.
As to the Amazon ads, there are so many ways to add them, and so many variables, that I’m not sure I could really do an instruction on it. Let me ponder this. If I come up with something I’ll post it here.
