IIRC, dofollow or nofollow link is still counted by google as backlinks. The difference is dofollow link spread PR linkjuice, nofollow link doesn't. But still, a link is still a link.

Lowell,

USFreeads does not make it easy to contact them, but I have done so in the past, and they did respond right away.

The email address that is on my monthly payment is wpsupport@usfreeads.com. I suggest contacting them at that address.

Should they not respond, then you can contact your credit card company and have them block future payments.

Hi Rochelle,

"USFreeads is an excellent tool to get backlinks"

Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, bit the links in USFreeads are nofollow. They do not create backlinks.

John,

No, I haven't been tracking visitors from USFreeads. It's not too hard to do (I believe we can each see this from our cPanel stats) but I haven't taken the time to do it.

Yes, I consider USFreeads an important tool but I haven't created as many ads as I should or as many as I intend to. My goal is to have a minimum of two ads for every niche store I have. Sadly, I've fallen way short of this goal.

In all honesty I haven't been organized in how I've been creating stores, which is why I created the checklist. Now that I've documented every store in my checklist and can see which of my stores have USFreeads and which don't, I will set aside time to create ads for each store that doesn't yet have them.

Hi Rochelle:

Have you found out approximately how many extra visitors you are getting by using US Freeads? By the sound of things(the amount of ads that you are writing), you must consider this a very important tool. Thanks!

Javanut,

Well, that's hard to answer because I can only speak for myself. But I prefer the premium membership. Why? Because of the unlimited ads. My goal is to have ads for all top-level categories in each of my stores, then continue with subcategories, and so on. One store would alone easily reach 25 ads using this method.

But if finances are a concern for you then maybe you would want to start with the gold membership and move up if you start to make money. But you will probably find that the more BANS stores you have the better the premium membership will become.

Hi Rochelle, am curious if you feel the Gold membership is sufficient for those of us who have a limited number of stores at this time? With Gold, I notice you can run 25 ads at one time. That tells me I could, for example, advertise 25 BANS stores using 1 ad per store (store product specific), would you agree? I'm trying to keep my administrative costs minimal until I start to see significant sales.
