It has been one day since I purchased 30 Minute Backlinks. At the risk of sounding like a salesperson, I have to say I’m amazed at how simple this is. I’m being totally honest when I say that. Michelle MacPhearson has created a series of video tutorials that are incredibly easy to follow and understand. Usually I prefer to read how to do something but these videos are better than reading.
It is hard for me to discuss what 30 Minute Backlinks does because I don’t want to give away the methods Michelle discusses. That wouldn’t be fair to her. But I think I’m ok to say she explains how to create your own software and then submit the software to directories.
She shows users how to create five different software programs. I’ve only watched the video for one of these but I will watch the other four later this week. It truly did take me 30 minutes or so to create the software (using a free service), create the PAD file (a file with information about you as the software creator and the software itself), and submit the PAD file to directories.
It is quite likely that some people could figure out what she’s doing on their own but I honestly believe that her directions will save those people time. I was aware of some of what she teaches but hadn’t considered the way she is doing it or some of the other things she discusses.
If any of you decide to use 30 Minute Backlinks be aware that you will benefit from reading her FAQ before you create your first toolbar. I didn’t and missed a key concept. You want to upload whatever you create to the website you are promoting. In my case, I created a toolbar for my My Little Pony store. I didn’t realize I needed to upload the toolbar to this site. Instead I uploaded it to a site I have that I don’t do much with. That is wrong. Not a lot wrong, but by hosting it on my My Little Pony site I will have additional links pointing to it.
The entire purpose of creating any of the software tools she suggests is not for the tools themselves (although I do suggest you put some effort into creating a decent product as you never know when one will become popular). The point is to follow her method to get backlinks pointing to your niche stores with the anchor text of your choice.
It is way too early for me to tell you how well this is working, as it may take a month or more for my software creations to start showing up in search engines. But I will say this. It took less than 24 hours for me to find my toolbar in Google. Not too shabby…
The benefit of following the methods taught in 30 Minute Backlinks is that it will bring potentially thousands of backlinks to your niche stores. And it happens slowly, so you won’t wake up one morning and find 800 new backlinks pointing to your site.
After I watch the other videos and create the other tools I’ll post again with more feedback. So far, though, I have to say this is one of the easiest methods I’ve used to get MANY backlinks to my sites.

Rochelle,
Isn’t this essentially the same tool as Micro Niche Finder? If not, what’s different about it?
Thanks,
Phil
Phil,
Micro Niche Finder (MNF) and 30 Minute Backlinks (30MB) have absolutely nothing in common. I do have MNF so am able to fairly compare them. Here are some of the differences:
- MNF is a software program, 30MB is a series of video tutorials.
- MNF helps you find keywords, much like WordTracker, while 30MB teaches how to create software products that generate backlinks to your specified sites.
It’s hard to continue with how different they are because they truly have nothing in common. That being said, if you have MNF you could use it to find the keywords you want to focus on while using the methods taught in 30MB.
Does this adequetly answer your question?
Rochelle
It does indeed, Rochelle. Thanks for your time.
Hi Rochelle,
Michelle’s Back Link sounds great. I’m wondering how long does it take to submit to the 800 or so directories?
Will you post back on your results has they come in?
I want to join but the price is a little steap at this point in time and
I would love to know how you do,
Randy
Randy,
I was just throwing a random number out when I said 800 backlinks. That being said, I actually purchased a program that does submit to 800+ software directories (could that be why 800 popped into my head??) and used that. The program, which is pricey, took over an hour to submit to all the directories.
If you don’t want to purchase additional software (and you don’t have to) then all you would do is submit to two websites, though one of them seems to be rejecting PAD file submissions. It takes less than two minutes to make these submissions. Even if all you do is submit to the one (and not the one that is rejecting files) then you’ll be ok because you would be submitting to the place where just about all software directories come to find new submissions. In time the directories will find your files and add them, it just takes a few months for this process. The software I bought speeds this up tremendously but it isn’t necessary.
I’ll gladly share results on this. At this point it has been two days since I created my first toolbar and submitted it. Currently I have found 16 listings on Google and four on Yahoo. Granted, my My Little Pony store is pretty well indexed (over 1,000 pages indexed) so this toolbar probably won’t do much for this site other than increase its authority.
You can search Google for the phrase (don’t include the quotation marks) “my little pony toys locator 1.0″ and see all the sites that are now linking back to my store.
This morning I added a link to the toolbar within my niche store. As of right now it has one download and installation. That’s not much but to be honest, since I didn’t think about this when I made it this could open a whole new realm of possibilities. I included links to the most popular pages of my store. Hopefully I’m not speaking too soon but I think this may be the most exciting method of promoting my sites I’ve done.

Hi Rochelle,
Is any of the 30MB strategy considered black hat SEO? Why or why not?
Thanks.
Steve - I’ll be honest in saying I’ve never studied or researched black hat SEO so really all I know about it is that they are methods used by spammers and other disreputable people. That being said, to the best of my knowledge, this is legitimate.
Viewers of 30MB learn to make products geared towards very specific niches (that is, whatever your niche stores are focused on). 30MB also teaches how to promote the created products (which is where our niche stores benefit from this process) in such a way that you get backlinks to your niche stores.
I’ve spent the past few minutes running the steps through my head, analyzing each one, and thinking about them from the perspective of someone trying to be shady. Really, it all seems ok to me. From what I can tell, the promotion of the software is white hat.
Nobody reading my blog (except my husband) knows me personally but I can state with honesty that I don’t participate in dodgy dealings. If I felt there was anything shady about what I was doing with 30MB I would have already asked for a refund.
Since I have already admitted I don’t know much about black hat SEO please let me know if there is a specific concern you have. I can answer that much better.

Hiya Rochelle
Thankyou very much for providing this very valuable resource for us newbies.
Along with Marks 12 week challenge I am learning tons of new stuff.
It is still frustrating at times, but due to yours and Marks kindness, not as frustrating as it otherwise would be.
Thanks very much
best wishes
Paul
Hi Rochelle,
What program do you use for the automatic submissions?
Randy
Randy - I use PromoSoft.

I listened to a 2-hour interview that Jim Morris of NicheBot did with Michelle last week (it was only live for a 72-hour special he was running.)
She indicated that this was very white hat, was a very established and accepted way for software creators to get their software out there, was highly favored by Google and had been around for about 8 years.
Several months ago, I bought a WSO promoting this technique. I was intrigued by it then but felt there was too much left out to feel like I really understood things and so I never did anything with it. I think that probably Michelle’s video series would be well worth the money as she indicates she SHOWS you exactly what to do.
I was really impressed with both Michelle and what this technique can do for your sites so would buy without hesitation (no time right now so I’m not up to spending the money yet!) I’ll also follow along as Rochelle provides some of her personal experience.
Thanks for sharing, Rochelle!
Cindy
I used Michelle’s 30 Min Backlinks and ended up with about 785 backlinks over the course of about 5 days. It’s really fun to watch how these things just explode once you do all the submissions. Well worth the effort. Plus, I only used the first method (so far). I keep updating my inbound link stats on my blog so people can track the progress generated from this system.
Rochelle,
I see that these posts about 30 Minute Backlinks is about a month old. It looks interesting. I was wondering what your results are looking like a month out and do you feel it is worth the money?? And is the submission software also necessary. That would make a chunk of change needed.
Yael
Yael,
It’s been over a month so today I concluded my test and wrote my thoughts about it at http://www.nichestorestrategie.....inks-test/.
In the new post I address if I think you need submission software, but the answer to this question is, “No.” I don’t think you need it. You can see my stats and how I came to this conclusion in the new post.

Hi Rochelle,
Hey are you the creator of the BANS Toolbar? If you are it isn’t supported by firefox 3.0.
I know this is a bit off topic, but the bans toolbar website has a problem with sending emails.
Thanks,
Shawn
Hi Shawn,
Yes, I created the BANS Toolbar. I’m aware that it isn’t FF3 compatible. I’m working on it but I have to wait for the software I use to create the toolbar to release an update so toolbars made with the software are compatible with FF3.
As of right now, I could release an update that would work with FF3, but only for people using Windows XP. If you use Vista it won’t work. I’m working with their tech support about this. I have no idea how much longer it will be but I promise I’ll post about it here and the forum once I am able to upgrade it for use with FF3 for all Windows users.
I’ve also created another toolbar that I think will hugely benefit BANS users. I’ll post about that, too, after the FF3 issue is resolved.
As to the email problem, I’ll have to look into that. Thank you for mentioning it.
Rochelle
Yeah, I’ve been using Uptrends.com, but they only allow you to track one site. I’ll use Montastic and see how it goes.

I purchased 30 minute backlinks about a year ago, and went and purchased PAD submission software. so far I have made approx 12,000 submissions to various directories. but unfortunately Google doesn’t seem to index many of them. maybe considers them to be spam. So the question I must ask now is, if Google is not indexing sites becuase it coniders them to be spam, then does my being on that site adversely effect my web site also?
I’ve tried to submit using a very competative keyword, however, my pages are also optimisted for that keyword.
If you are interested in the real life results that I’ve seen using this strategy over the past 6 months, then check out
http://www.classicspeeches.com
keywords used: Best Man Speeches, Free best man speeches, best man speech.
you can see the effectiveness of this strategy in getting links by entering: link: classicspeeches.com
the 600 or so links that are now indexed hasn’t raised my page rank or google placing for those keywords at all. So I submit to you that traditional link building strategies of networking yourself in forums, articles and establishing good content that gets traffic back to your web site, and most of all… have your keyword in your domain name with a very high desity, you’ll achieve more than straight out bulk submitting to lots of directories.
I haven’t written this strategy off, as I just did another submission using PromoSoft, however, I’m not relying on this strategy to generate bulk traffic.
best of luck.
I think i should try this software, much thank for the information, because im currently searching for legit tool to build backlinks fast, thanks again
