Aargh! Waiting for the most recent update to Build A Niche Store (BANS) is costing me money. But not the way you might think. I just plunked down a chunk of change for a tutorial series that looks to be an excellent tool for getting backlinks.
So, what did I just pay for? A series of videos called 30 Minute Backlinks offered by Michelle MacPhearson (I had never heard of her before but she seems to be a bit of an SEO guru). I saw someone talking about this in the BANS forum and decided to check it out. The site looked interesting but what sold me was her free tips.
I got the first of her free tips shortly after confirming my email subscription. The tip is about how to choose the right keywords and is presented in a video. Michelle’s voice is very soothing and pleasant to listen to and the information is excellent. It’s not like the typical free bit of information that is nothing more than an ad for whatever that person is selling. This is truly good information that will help BANS users immensely.
Michelle’s video was straight forward and easy to understand. She is very good at explaining whatever concept her video is about. I was so impressed with her free video that I paid for her tutorial series. You can check out her informational page (and sign up for her free tips) here.
I haven’t yet had a chance to watch her series but I will post later after I have. I did some research on her series before I paid for it and it seems to be the real deal.
One thing I almost forgot to mention - There is a video on Michelle’s page where she talks about the 30 Minute Backlinks series. The video played on a loop. I couldn’t turn it off or pause it. It lasts about five minutes and is a good introduction to her videos.

I too intend to try this out but I am waiting for the current BAN update issue to be resolved. I am an old man trying to make a living on the web and I am completely in the dark when Mark and other begin talking about technical stuff.
Needs to be really simple for me to understand.

Jerry - As soon as enough time has passed for me to get a real feel for how well the 30 Minute Backlinks program works I’ll write another post about it. For now, though, I’m completely impressed. Michelle (the creator) is very simple in her explanations, she explains every thing in basic terms and takes the time to explain what might be somewhat difficult.
It’s hard for me to say how easy or hard things are because my experience differs from anyone elses, but I found this to be VERY easy to follow. She walks through the process of what you would be doing so you can see what she does.
So far it has been a little less than three days since I created my first toolbar. I checked this morning and found about 40 links to my site from the toolbar.
What I should do to give this a fair assessment is create a brand new niche store (which I did this week) then create a toolbar for it. When I do this I will not use any directory submission software for the toolbar, just the two free resources Michelle shares with viewers. This way I can see if using 30 Minute Backlinks helps get sites indexed.
