Incansoft Software Tax Day Sale

Rochelle in For those of us in the USA, today is Tax Day. That’s usually a bad thing, but the guys over at Incansoft have turned it into a good thing. They are having a 24-Hour sale.
If you hurry, you can get some outstanding deals, as everything is on sale for $7.77. You will need codes to get this price. Here is the information I got in my email earlier today:

I have not tried most of their products, but I do have Content Mania, and it is a solid program (a bit of a learning curve, but seems to be worth it if you have content to rewrite). Earlier today I purchased their Translator script. I have it installed here, so you can check it out (look on the sidebar). Pretty nifty!
More than that, though, is the courtesy of offering a translation tool to foreign visitors. That can be the difference between a sale and no sale for those of us with affiliate stores.
For those of you who may purchase the Translator script, you MUST upload the files in binary format. If you don’t, you will see a fatal error whenever you try to translate a page. I had to install Filezilla to do this properly (can’t believe I never knew about this FTP program before!) and upload the files using Filezilla.
So, go checkout the products over at Incansoft before this sale ends and get a few goodies. If any of you use any of their tools, please share your thoughts on them below (please specify which tool you are commenting on).

Your translator program doesn’t seem to be working. Here’s the message that came up when I tried to translate to both french and spanish:
Sorry, the page your requested could not be found, or no longer exists.
I just got the same program so hopefully I can get it working.

Shawn – Thanks for letting me know. It was working earlier, but I was mucking around with the code for it and I must have removed something. I’ll go check.

Hmm. The Translator is translating the ‘Home’ page, but none of the others. I will contact their support and see what they say I need to do. I’ll let you know what they say.

Ok, all is well. Seems I had the coding just slightly wrong. Mike at Incansoft was very kind and spent this morning helping me sort this out.
I added the code to Translator by copying the code (the huge block of code) that was on page 13 of the PDF by using a text widget. I made one mistake.

The translator does not seem to be working. Are you aware of that? I’m asking because I was thinking of installing this on my sites. I used to have the free Global Translator Plugin installed but it was creating hundreds and hundreds of 404 error pages as seen when I logged into my Google Account / Webmaster Tools. Have you checked this site in your Google Account to see if these translated pages are coming up as 404 errors?

Thanks for the heads up on the errors. Translator issued an upgrade, and I haven’t upgraded this site yet. I have confirmed that the latest release is working (I have it on some other sites), so it looks like I need to upgrade this site.

I have updated this site to the most recent version of Translator. For some reason, this particular page isn’t translating, but I’ve been able to translate every other page I’ve tested. I probably should contact Tech Support for this, but I’m letting it go for now.
