I’m afraid I’m not going to be much help with your inquiry. If you’ve read through my blog you may know that my house was flooded last August. This was a major event that forced us out of our house for over five months. I am still doing repairs on the house, and have at least one more month to go.

The only reason I mention that is because much of my online stuff has been put on hold or abandoned during this process (which has been going on for almost a year now). One of the things to be abandoned was the sites I used to test the 30 Minute Backlinks method. So, I have no idea what the quality of the links was. It didn’t occur to me at the time to check them, though I should have done so. If I test this again I’ll be sure to check the quality.

I have not had the time to get back into this method. It does work, but shouldn’t be used as the only method to get backlinks.

Perhaps someone reading this who uses 30 Minute Backlinks will be kind enough to share their results and the quality of the backlinks.

I’d be interested in knowing what the quality of these links was. The main attraction of this product is that it promises backlinks from high PR software directories – PR4,5,6 and 7. Did you find a noticeable amount of these popping up? If so it would indeed be a valuable tool… although if they’re all PR0-1, I can think of cheaper and quicker methods of getting 50 links.

Just to clarify, I do not consider 30 Minute Backlinks to be a blackhat method. It is a legit method of getting backlinks.

I should probably add an addendum to this post. Not too long after I completed this my house was flooded by a tropical storm. It is now seven months after the flooding, and we still have several months of work to go. My purpose in saying that is because I’ve completely neglected the sites I used for this test. I did nothing more than use 30 Minute Backlinks to promote this site, which, I’m sure, is why Google now dislikes them.

And, truth be told, I didn’t do a great job creating the sites. They are thin affiliate sites, which Google hates. That is the reason there are no listings in Google (I haven’t checked it in months to confirm, but will take your word about there being no pages indexed). A site needs to be promoted in many ways, not just this one.

You mentioned that you did a massive link-building campaign on a new site of yours. Be careful how you do that. You want to add links slowly, not quickly, or search engines will know something is up. The slow approach is how most sites naturally get their backlinks.

Regarding your question, I do not use blackhat methods. I do use several methods, all above board. At this time, my method includes keyword research, writing new content pages, submitting them to an article distribution site (which I’ll probably write about at some point, as it works wonderfully), directory submissions, and a few other promotional methods. I do a LOT more than I did when I created these sites. I hope that helps.

I’ve also had a similar problem when using massive link-building campaigns on a brand-new domain, even those that have had “real” content that Google would not have seen as spam.

Just curious if you used any other black-hat SEO techniques on these domains other than the massive link-building techniques via software registration sites
