Just make sure you set it up to send you emails when a new search page has been created, so you can modify or delete it, as well as use the MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer plugin to minimize pings. If you do those things, you should be ok. Unless, of course, you are fortunate enough to have a site that gets thousands of visitors a day, with tons of searches ; )

If you are on a budget, I would start with phpBay Pro first. It pulls results from eBay, which usually has just about everything. A close second is phpZon, but, at this time, you can’t buy that without first buying phpBay Pro (it is in Beta status, and only available to current owners of phpBay Pro).

I’m very new to phpOStock, so please don’t think I’m discounting that one. I’m still learning what all is available there.

And, yes, you can create your own pages, but since you will probably want to edit pages that searchers create, you will save yourself time by creating them from within your blog’s Admin panel. Any searches you create are more likely to be for testing purposes that you will delete soon after creating them. At least, that’s what I’ve been doing.

Seems like a great setup! I guess you can also generate posts yourself to start with by entering your own keywords.

As I don’t currently have any of the other plugins either, how long do you think it would take to get my money back if I were to invest in them all. Any general indication would be appreciated.
