Should You Join Crowd Mountain?

If you have followed my blog for a while now, then you already know that I am a big fan of Michelle MacPhearson.  She was my mentor under her mentor training program, and I learned a lot from her.

This week, Michelle opened a new membership site she created called Crowd Mountain.  I am a member, and couldn’t wait for the site to become available on 03/01/2009.  Knowing what Michelle is capable of, my expectations were pretty high.  I can say, in all honesty, that my expectations were not only met, but exceeded.

What is Crowd Mountain?

Crowd Mountain is all about achievable online business building. The first thing you will do when you join Crowd Mountain is go through Internet bootcamp.  Literally.

Michelle has created 6 different bootcamp training modules:

  • Niche the Niche, which is all about researching for a new niche site.  Included is a 17 page workbook (you can download and print it), and six training videos.
  • Optimize for Size, which is all about how to build and SEO optimize a website for earning money.  Included is a downloadable workbook, automatic affiliate profit generating and SEO enhancer plugin, and  five downloadable website themes that are already SEO optimized and will work with any niche.
  • Content Architecture, which is all about what kind of content to add to your site and how to to publish it.  Included is information on what type of content Google loves, a custom-tweaked plugin to make finding and publishing that content as easy as a few mouse clicks, and a private plugin Michelle had built just for Crowd Mountain that will make building your site around a set of long-tail keywords super simple.
  • Monetization Station, which is all about how to make money with your niche site.
  • Search Engine Assault, which is all about what it takes to get Google to love your site and send you organic traffic.
  • Power Networking, which is all about using social networking to become an authority in your site’s niche.
There is quite a bit more than what I’ve listed, but you can read the rest on the Crowd Mountain website.

What do I think of Crowd Mountain?

At this time, I have only seen and viewed the tutorials found in module one, Niche the Niche.  This is because Michelle is releasing one module per week, to prevent confusion and information overload.  Since the site is only three days old (as of this writing), this is the only module available.  So, I cannot speak of the other remaining modules.

Regarding the one module I have seen, it is outstanding.  Michelle has created not one, but three training videos detailing how to do keyword research.  The three videos cover three different niches (one niche per video), so viewers get a very good idea of how to do keyword research.

Also included for members is a task manager.  This software keeps track of every website you have, and what you have or haven’t yet done on each site.  I am loving this program!

Should you join?

Well, that’s a decision you will have to make for yourself.  If you would like intensive training on how to research, create, optimize, and monetize a website, then I highly recommend that you do.  Just an FYI – If you join now, before the end of this week, you will have the unique opportunity to submit questions to Michelle for the live Q&A on Friday (03/06/2009).  If you miss this opportunity, then you will be able to hear a recording of the Q&A session.  This is your chance to ask Michelle anything relating to a module.

Check out Crowd Mountain and decide if it is right for you.  I can say that everything Michelle promises will be delivered, and then some.

I joined and it’s truely valuable information, I haven’t gone through all the info posted for module 1 but from what I have read it’s worth the investment because the return will be well worth it!!

    Iman,

Thanks for sharing your impressions so far. I think Michelle’s explanations for how to do keyword research are the best I’ve ever seen. Her training on that, alone, will make the cost of membership worth it!

I took interest in Crowd Mountain initially because of Michelle’s excellent reputation in the internet marketing world. When I learned what CM was about I knew it was just what I needed to help me learn more about internet marketing.
After going through Module 1 I know I made the right decision.
