The Niche Store Checklist has been Revised

RochelleStrategies

It’s been one day and already I’ve completed revised the Niche Store Checklist I created yesterday. I was using it today and the first thing I realized is that every page needs a section for you to write the URL or store name on it. If the papers ever get separated this way you will know what pages belong to what store.

Then other thoughts came to me, such as adding a page that lets you track monthly commissions, adding a page dedicated to mods (this will be very helpful to have if you need to redo any mods due to upgrades or fixes), and so on.

Lastly, there was an issue with the links. I included many links which work perfectly on some computers and not on others. I found that, on the systems where the links didn’t work, they did work if one’s mouse was held over the blank space to the left of a link. Strange. Since I am totally new to PDFs (this is the first one I have made) I really don’t know how to fix this. Searching Google didn’t help.

What I came to realize is that the links that do work properly for all systems (that I am aware of) where the links where the text was also the link. So, I decided to remove the links from the text and placed them to the left of the text. It’s not as pretty but it works now.

As previously stated, you are free to link to my checklist but please link to this post instead of to the download link.

Download my Niche Store Checklist. When you click the link to the checklist a PDF file will open. You can save this to your desk by clicking the ‘Save a Copy’ button in your PDF reader (it may say something slightly different).

Thanks Rochelle for this updated checklist. I have been trying to use your previous one and Marks in tandem and it was a disaster.

Thanks for using your great organizational skills to help me get on the road to success.

    Paul,

I hate to say this but I’m working on yet another revision. I expect to be done with it by this afternoon, if not sooner.

What I’m adding is a way for users to track what files are affected by the various mods you may add to your sites. I was cleaning my kitchen this morning when the idea to do this came to me (I swear, I never stop thinking of BANS these days!).

Hopefully this will be the last revision (for a while, anyways).

    Rochelle

Great, keep the revisons coming. If anyone else is doing somethng that should be on your list I invite them to discuss it here.

Yes, there should be a song “BANS is always on my mind” :) Spring has finally sprung up here in Wisconsin and my wife wonders why I still spend so much time on the computer instead of outside.
