Thanks for the update Rochelle. Very interesting stats, they do seem very random and as you say, it may be better to leave it a while before the next comparison. Are you trying any of Michelle’s other techniques?

I’ve been reading about link building lately and there seems to be some discussion about number of links verses quality of links. I’m wondering if the number of links is more important at the beginning, in order to get the site indexed as quickly as possible. And later, concentrate on the quality of the links. What do other readers think?

What is really interesting is that the number of pages for each of these sites indexed in Google is completely different today than it was last night. Each site now has more pages indexed. I wonder if Google was having a hiccup at the time I checked the stats. But I’m still going to wait until next week for my next update.

Quality backlinks (external links relevant to your site) are definately more important than quantity of links. Using the 30 Minute Backlinks ensures quality backlinks because you control every aspect of the backlinks that are being generated. So every backlink that I list in my stats is a quality backlink. I should have clarified that so I’m glad you asked about this.

Regarding having a large quantity of backlinks that aren’t quality (relevant), I don’t know too much but what I do know is that search engines such as Google may see your site as a spammy site and rank it lower than if it has quality backlinks.

Like Denise, I’d like to hear what others have to say about quality vs. quantity backlinks.

I understand your uncertainty. Hearing that users of 30 MInute Backinks create software may make it seem like you need to do something complicated.

Michelle explains how to make five different software tools. I’ve only made one so can’t comment on the other four at this point (I don’t even know what they are yet because I haven’t watched the tutorials for those). The software tools that I’ve created to date are all Internet browser toolbars.

If you’ve seen or used my BANS Toolbar (at http://www.banstoolbar.com ) then you will have an idea of what I’m making. But please know the toolbars I’m making for the purposes of 30 Minute Backlinks are not as complex as the BANS Toolbar. Also, I use a different program for creating the BANS Toolbars.

The 30 Minute Toolbars are created at http://www.conduit.com. Conduit’s toolbars are very simple to make. You don’t need to know the actual ‘how’ for creating toolbars with Conduit. You just pick and choose what options you want it to have, add a few links, and your own unique toolbar will be generated.

I believe the same is true of the other four tools Michelle instructs users about, meaning they are created with tools similar to Conduit.

The key to creating backlinks with the toolbar is not the toolbar itself. Rather, it is how you promote the toolbar you create. Michelle instructs users on how to create backlinks to your niche stores using the tools you create.
