Someone recently asked me for specifics regarding what you get when you purchase The Number 1 Way to Make Money guide (now being called N1WAY by its creators, Adam and Kelvin). To be honest, I was also confused about what I was going to get before I bought it, and suspect that others may also be unsure. So, I will do my best to explain exactly what the N1WAY guide is.
Simply put, N1WAY is a step-by-step guide on what Adam and Kelvin (the creators of the popular BANS script) do when they create their own sites. They have developed these steps over the course of several years. They decided to share their steps after seeing how many people on their BANS forum struggle with researching, building, and maintaining their own sites.
N1WAY breaks this process down into nine categories (actually, there are 10 categories, including the “Getting Started” section, which contains good information that is referenced in other sections):
- Pick a Market - Adam and Kelvin explain how they brainstorm to find a potential niche for a new site, and break this process down into steps so you can, too.
- Plan Your Website - This step shows you how to determine if there are enough products in your niche (chosen in step 1) and enough demand for these products to successfully earn commissions.
- Create Your Content - This step shares what mandatory pages Adam and Kelvin add on all of their sites and how to go about creating them. They also discuss where to find information to add to your site’s pages that will help bring visitors to the pages.
- Build Your Site – This step provides tutorials on how to install and setup both a BANS site and a WordPress blog site, both of which can be used for eBay listings. WordPress blogs can also be used for additional types of affiliate sites, such as Amazon, Datafeedr, OverStock, and so on. They also include HTML code you can use on your own sites to replicate the look of their sites, as well as exact steps on how to flesh out each type of site (i.e. what type of pages to create and how to structure the pages).
- Market Your Website – This step provides information on how to get visitors to your site, which includes several methods and how to implement those methods.
- Manage Your Website – This step discusses what to do with your site once you are done building it. It covers the first year after launching the site.
- Building Your Next 9 Sites – Once your first site is done it is time to work on your next site, which is laid out in this step. This step tells you to repeat the previous steps, but also introduces the possibility of outsourcing.
- Look Into Outsourcing – This step discusses when to consider outsourcing and provides some sources for you to consider.
- Using the Useful Resources – This isn’t a step but a collection of resources that may be helpful to you . There are resources on Website Development Platforms, WordPress Product Feed Plugins, and Other Product Feed Tools. There is also a section of Useful Knowledge, which includes Guides and Courses, Blogs and Websites (Adam and Kelvin were kind enough to include this site – thank you!), Deeper Knowledge, Forums and Knowledgebases, Interesting Reading, One on One Development Assistance, Hosting Providers, and Domain Registrars.
- “Treat It Like a Business” The Necessary Perspective for Success – (Bonus section) This section was added after the guide was initially published. Information on how to change the way you look at your efforts to take it from being a hobby to becoming a business. It also reminds you that making money from affiliate niche stores takes time, sometimes months, sometimes years.
Be aware that this guide is not the end-all, be-all on creating, promoting, and maintaining affiliate sites. It is, however, an excellent guide for those getting started with niche stores. It also offers information for those of us who have been doing this for a while (I really love the information provided in steps 3, 4, and 5, which was presented in a way I had not previously considered but has made creating a niche store easier for me).
There are no upsells that you will be required to purchase in order to follow the steps in this guide, but there are some scripts or plugins that are recommended to get the most of creating affiliate sites (something stated in this guide that I agree with), some of which are free, some must be purchased. These include BANS, WordPress, phpBay Pro, phpZon or ReviewAZON, phpOStock, and so on.
Yes, it is possible to make a niche store without purchasing any scripts or plugins, but I would only suggest you attempt that if you intend on doing this as a hobby. If you want to make serious money then purchasing one or more script/plugin will streamline the process and save you loads of time, and time is money.
There are no templates included in N1WAY, but there are plenty of sources where you can get free or premium templates for both BANS and WordPress, including here on this blog for BANS sites.
I hope this explanation helps you understand what you will get when you purchase N1WAY. If you still have any questions about it please let me know.

I totally agree with you, the guide is definitely not the be all and end all BUT it is a killer step by step.. even for experienced webmasters.. I’ve already drafted my own “trimmed down” version of N1WAY into a checklist format for a few experimental sites I’m working on.. The guide is absolutely worth the money, every penny!
Elijah,
You think like me. I, too, have created a checklist from the guide to help me hit the keypoints of each step. Good luck with your experimental sites!

The guide is great except doesn’t go into much detail about how to edit that wp template. For them to say “just do this …” isn’t going to help a newbie. I’m having terrible trouble with the wp template they suggested and cannot get it to look like their site. Do you know someone who’s good with editing this template?
BTW Your link to phpbaypro (in the post above) leads to your own affiliate login page.
Cherie,
How funny that you are asking about the template, as that is EXACTLY what I am working on right now.
I am working with the code they provided in Dreamweaver, which is an HTML editor. I suspect that some people may find it easier to work with a code editor instead of directly modifying the code.
There are free HTML editors, such as one that I absolutely cannot remember the name of and Google isn’t helping me, but they tend to be difficult to learn. Paid editors, though, can be pricy (such as Dreamweaver). CoffeeCup has a pretty good HTML editor that doesn’t cost too much that might be of help.
Otherwise, no, I do not know anyone who is good at editing the templates. Perhaps someone here who is will speak up.
Thanks for the FYI on the link for phpbay pro. I’m off to go fix it.

Cherie,
I just wrote a new post on how to modify the template coding using an online HTML editor. Hopefully that will help you.

Hello Rochelle.
I have just opened my first nich store, can you please take a look and let me know what you think since you have years of experience, also do you know how long does it take till eBay approve your partner network application??
Thank you
Effy
Effy,
I just sent you an email with my suggestions. However, I forgot to address the eBay inquiry.
Honestly, I don’t know how long they take these days. But, you have a site built, so that will be in your favor. It does, though, need more content. They may not approve it simply because there is not enough content on it.
