Why I started this site

A few months ago I created the free  BANS Toolbar.  My intention was to simply create a toolbar for Build A Niche Store users.  However, I started posting helpful tidbits and such but I think that wasn’t the place for such information.

Instead I created this website where I can share strategies for creating and growing a niche store empire.  I look forward to your input as it will help make this a better site.

Funny, I started a new blog for kind of the same reasons. I was doing so much niche stuff on my mogul blog, which wasn’t my original intent, that I started another one just to focus on niche sites. I’m working on a tutorial at the moment, but other more pressing things have kept me from finishing it.

I’ll add this site to my blogroll. The more info the better right?

Rochelle, I just noticed that I pulled my products just from one category into my store. I went back to eBay and serached on my ietms and I noticed that my product is all othe rthe places. The problem that is eBay give just a category number, not a sub-sutegory number and not sub-sub category. I wonder how can I pull my products from category that has a lot of other unrelated items?
    Thanks,
    Rita

    Hi Rita,

I’m not exactly sure what you are asking. Do you mean you have a product that is in many eBay categories, or that your product is in a main category but the category also contains many other items, not just what you want to promote? Or something else?

I suspect you mean it is in a category with other items as well. If this is the case then you can narrow in on your product by entering terms for it in the ‘Search Query’ section of the page you created for it, or in the ‘Home’ page (found in the ‘Content’ tab). So, if you are using an eBay category number to create a store page then you can hone it by adding search terms to that page to get exactly what you want.
